Direct sale

You’re likely here because you made a direct purchase from MediaKind and received a “redemption” link. We’ll explain how to redeem your purchase shortly, but first, it’s helpful to understand a few key MK.IO concepts and the terminology we use.

During the process of redeeming your purchase using your link you will need to:

  1. Login to MK.IO, creating a user account if you are a new customer.
  2. Give us some details so we can create a new organization for you if necessary (if you log in with Azure Active Directory, we can skip this step).
  3. Agree to some terms and associate your purchase with a new payment method.
  4. Create a new project.

A video walkthrough of this process is available here .

Redeeming your link

When you follow your redemption link, it will ask you to sign in to MK.IO.

  1. If you already have an MK.IO account, go head and log in as usual and skip to step 3. If you don't, follow the "Create an account" link and you will be redirected. Here, you have two options:
    • Login with Microsoft (requires Active Directory / Entra ID).
    • Continue with email. You will be prompted to create your account:
  2. If you create and account with email, you will be required to enter some information so we can create you an organisation.
  3. Next, you will be asked to redeem your purchase, this involves agreeing that you are permitted to do so.

📘

Note that if you, as a user, are associated with multiple MK.IO organizations, you can select the organization to which you want this new sale to be added to by switching organisation before you proceed. On clicking Redeem purchase, a new payment method is created and associated with the new designated organization.

  1. The final step is to create a new project to make use of the new payment method. You will be asked to select the cloud region in which any cloud workloads will run and name the project.
