Add assets into MK.IO
Create or import assets in a few simple steps.
Before starting
Ensure that you have subscribed to MK.IO and that your MK.IO subscription is up and running.
Also ensure that you connect your Azure storage account that will contain the assets that you will add or import. MK.IO will connect directly to this account, to create new assets. Assets will be added to your Azure storage account and part of your existing Azure subscription. Access to your assets, from MK.IO, can be easily managed by you, using the Shared Access Signature (SAS token) that you create directly in Azure.
Add assets
To add assets, you can:
- Import existing assets from your storage account
- Bulk import existing assets from your storage account
- Upload files from your device
Verify your assets have been imported
Once you have imported assets or added new ones, you can verify that the assets you’ve added have been ingested and indexed into MK.IO.
Enable your migrated assets for streaming
Once you have imported assets or added new ones, you are ready to set up Streaming Endpoints and Streaming Locators to enable them to be delivered to your client applications.
